Just simply attach  the device to your Nikon camera, all the photos taken are geotagged with precise location (longitude, latitude, altitude and heading) and UTC time information. Compare with the Geotagger N1, the advantage of N2 is able to provide the heading information.

Power supplied from internal rechargeable battery, doesnt consume the power of the  camera, lasting up to 10 hours. Automatically swith over to Nikon camera for power source when the device is in low power.

"Auto" switch design, which allow the geotagger N2 will turn on when the camera is turned on and will turn off when the camera is turned off. Use-friendly.

The cable is seperated from the unit, which allow you choose the different cable  to match different camera . 

Last fixed repeat. When lost or no GPS signal  coverage, the Geotagger N2 will continually report the last fixed location information to the camera.

GPS data are automatically written to standard EXIF header data of each photo file. Geotagged values can be viewed using standard photo viewing applications such as Apple iPhoto, Yahoo! Flickr, Photoshop Elements, Google Picassa, and many others photo viewing apps that can display EXIF header values. Photos uploaded to Flickr or Picassa network albums can get mapped automatically to the Google or Yahoo maps.

Software Included (but not required): Application Utility for both PC and Mac for you to view and locate your photos on the Google Map. Application works on Mac OS X 10.3 or higher, and Windows 2000, XP, and Vista.
